“Education cannot be neutral. It is either positive or negative; either it enriches or it impoverishes; either it enables a person to grow or it lessens, even corrupts him. The mission of schools is to develop a sense of truth, of what is good and beautiful. And this occurs through a rich path made up of many ingredients. This is why there are so many subjects — because development is the results of different elements that act together and stimulate intelligence, knowledge, the emotions, the body, and so on.”-Pope Francis
Our curriculum is based in the seven liberal arts (logic, grammar, rhetoric, arithmetic, geometry, music, and astronomy) as well as scripture, appreciation of our natural world, and practical skills for the modern world. Courses will be developed by our expert instructors in conjunction with our founders and administration. Our goal as educators is to teach students how to think, how to learn, and how to live well. We aim to produce students who can clearly articulate and defend their views, and who are prepared to go into the world upon graduation glorifying God with their life.
Elementary Grades
Kindergarten through fourth grade will focus on the essentials of reading, writing, number sense, and understanding our place in history and the universe.
Middle Grades
Grades five through eight will begin students’ in depth study of history, Christianity, and the classical liberal arts. Students will study arithmetic, geometry, grammar, Aristotelian logic, as well as the great composers and art.
High School
In the 2024-2025 school year, we understand that with students entering in 11th and 12th grade, there are very specific courses they will need to complete their high school education. In our first two years we will work with each family individually to create an academic plan for their students to meet all graduation requirements.
Starting with students entering 9th grade in the 2024-2025 school year, the requirements for high school graduation will be as follows. (This is an example sequencing.)
